85-Hour Prenatal Yoga
Teacher Training Certificate Course
The 85-Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Certificate Course is a thorough and extensive program aimed at providing yoga practitioners with the essential skills and knowledge needed to effectively teach prenatal yoga.
The curriculum encompasses a variety of subjects, including prenatal and post-natal yoga background, techniques, training and practice, teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, and the philosophy, lifestyle, and ethical considerations for yoga teachers. In addition, students must fulfil assignments and engage in independent study to prepare for their final assessment. Moreover, students will complete 20 hours of practicum, during which they will earn group class credits at the studio for practice and observation. They are also encouraged to take the opportunity to teach some classes to enhance their teaching experience.
Overall, this course provides a well-rounded and intensive training program for individuals looking to specialize in prenatal yoga instruction. At the end of this course, students will have the ability to lead specific pre- and post-natal classes for expectant mothers.

Please be aware that March 29, 31, and April 1 fall on Easter holidays. We will discuss whether the training will continue as scheduled during the holiday. If the majority of the class agrees, the training will proceed. However, if not, we may consider postponing the training for a week.

Assignments + Self-Study (Total of 10 hours)
This is the time given to the students to finish their regular assignments and study the theory for their final assessment.
Personal Practice (Total of 10 hours)
These hours be devoted to independent practice, applying the techniques learned in the classroom to your self-practice, to gain a better understanding.
Practicum (Total of 20 hours)
During the practicum, students will accumulate a total of 20 hours. They will receive 20 group class credits at the studio, which can be used to enrol in group classes for practice and observation. Additionally, students are strongly urged to take the opportunity to teach some classes to enhance their teaching experience.

Assessment Methods
Students will be evaluated on their learning through a thorough written/MCQ examination and a practical examination. The practical exam will be split into two sections: teaching and viva (oral exam). Both the written and practical exams will be weighted equally, at 50% each, to total 100%. Passing both exams separately is necessary to earn the Pre-Natal and Post-Natal Teacher's Training Certificate.

The course fee with early bird fee is HKD 13,000 and regular fee is HKD 15,000.

Accreditation (RYPT)
Yoga Bagel HK is a certified Prenatal Yoga School that is registered with Yoga Alliance. Upon successful completion of all course materials, participants will be awarded a certificate. Yoga Alliance serves as a global governing board for yoga teachers and training courses. Graduates of this course have the opportunity to apply for RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) status with Yoga Alliance, provided they meet the registration standards. We provide support to students who are interested in pursuing Yoga Alliance Registration after completing our teacher training program.
About the Lead Teacher - Shreya Agrawal
The instructor leading this TTC is Shreya Agrawal, who boasts over 20 years of experience in practicing yoga. She began her yoga journey at the tender age of 6, immersing herself in advanced Asanas at an early stage. Her dedication and hard work paid off, resulting in gold medals for her country in international competitions at the ages of 15 and 17. However, her passion for yoga intensified due to its therapeutic benefits. Seeking to expand her expertise, Shreya completed numerous Teacher Trainings and earned her MSc. in Yoga Therapy, becoming a certified Yoga Therapist. With over 8 years of experience teaching various yoga styles, Shreya also led several TTCs in India before relocating to Hong Kong to continue her yoga teaching career.
